Terms and Conditions for Deco Drive Rentals

Welcome to Deco Drive Rentals. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our car rental services, including luxury car rentals, classic car rentals, chauffeur services, short-term and long-term car leases, and event transportation. By accessing or using our online platform or engaging in any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

By making a reservation, renting a vehicle, using our chauffeur services, or otherwise interacting with Deco Drive Rentals, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility and Driver Requirements

• Age: All renters and authorized drivers must be at least 25 years of age for luxury and classic car rentals, and 21 years of age for other standard vehicles, unless explicitly agreed otherwise for specific vehicle categories or services. Additional age restrictions may apply based on vehicle type.

• License: A valid, unexpired driver's license from your country of residence, held for a minimum of 2 years, is required. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required if your national driver's license is not in English. We reserve the right to refuse rental if the license is deemed invalid or insufficient.

• Identification: A valid passport or national ID card must be presented at the time of rental.

3. Reservations and Bookings

• Availability: All reservations are subject to vehicle availability. While we strive to honor specific vehicle requests, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable vehicle if the reserved model is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

• Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmed payment or deposit as specified during the reservation process.

• Minimum Rental Period: A minimum rental period may apply, varying by vehicle type and rental season.

4. Rental Charges and Payments

• Pricing: Rental rates are quoted based on the agreed rental period, vehicle type, and any additional services. Rates may include a mandatory insurance package, taxes, and other applicable fees.

• Payment: Full payment for the rental period and any additional services is required at the time of vehicle collection or as agreed in advance. We accept major credit cards. A security deposit will be held on your credit card for the duration of the rental.

• Security Deposit: The security deposit amount varies by vehicle category and covers potential damages, excess mileage, fuel charges, fines, or other incurred costs. The deposit will be released after the vehicle is returned, inspected, and all outstanding charges are settled.

• Late Returns: Vehicles returned beyond the agreed return time may incur additional charges, typically a full day's rental fee for every partial or full day late.

• Fuel Policy: Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full. A refueling charge plus the cost of fuel will apply if the vehicle is not returned with a full tank.

5. Vehicle Use and Responsibilities

• Condition of Vehicle: You agree to return the vehicle in the same condition as received, reasonable wear and tear excepted. Any new damages will be charged against your security deposit or billed separately.

• Prohibited Uses: Vehicles must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, off-road driving, towing, sub-leasing, or by unauthorized drivers. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles, and a cleaning fee will apply if this policy is violated.

• Maintenance: Routine checks of fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights are the responsibility of the renter during the rental period. Any mechanical issues must be reported to Deco Drive Rentals immediately.

• Geographical Restrictions: Vehicles must remain within Singapore unless prior written consent has been obtained from Deco Drive Rentals for cross-border travel, which may incur additional fees and insurance requirements.

6. Insurance and Liability

• Standard Insurance: All rentals include basic insurance coverage. Details of the coverage, including excesses and exclusions, will be provided at the time of rental agreement.

• Excess Reduction/Waiver: Optional excess reduction or waiver options may be available for an additional fee. It is your responsibility to understand the terms of any insurance coverage.

• Accidents and Damage: In the event of an accident, theft, or damage, you must immediately notify Deco Drive Rentals and the local police. All relevant documentation must be completed. Failure to follow these procedures may invalidate your insurance coverage and make you liable for the full cost of damages.

• Personal Belongings: Deco Drive Rentals is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle during or after the rental period.

7. Chauffeur Services and Event Transportation

• Booking and Confirmation: Chauffeur and event transportation services require advance booking and confirmation. Specific terms and conditions relating to timings, wait times, and cancellations will be provided upon booking.

• Conduct: Clients and passengers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers will be the responsibility of the booking party.

8. Cancellations and Modifications

• Cancellation Policy: A cancellation fee may apply depending on how close to the rental pick-up time the cancellation is made. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined at the time of booking. Non-arrivals may be charged the full rental amount.

• Modifications: Requests for modifications to reservations (e.g., extend rental period, change vehicle type) are subject to vehicle availability and may result in a change in rental rates and/or administration fees.

9. General Provisions

• Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

• Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

• Amendments: Deco Drive Rentals reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated Terms and Conditions will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately.

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
